The lights can only be switched on approx. 5-15 seconds after starting the engine. A voltage of at least 13.1 V must be applied to the control unit of the
wiring harness to enable the circuit
. In older vehicles, this can be achieved by briefly increasing the
speed.
Switching off must be done manually at the switch. The NOVA LEDs remain lit until
the voltage limit of 11.8 V is reached, even after the engine has been switched off. Only when
falls below this voltage limit do the lights switch off automatically via the
control unit. When switching on again (wait for the dwell time of the control unit),
the voltage limit of 13.1 V is queried again.

Basic tank ring for Yamaha XT 1200 Z/ZE Super Ténéré (2010-2020)Simple and innovative at the same time - our BASIC tank ring
This functional tank ring enables the attachment of a tank bag from Hepco&Becker.The scope of delivery includes a BASIC tank ring and the counterholder, which can be individually screwed to the tank bag depending on the tank shape and handlebar angle. The tank cap can still be opened without any problems when the tank ring is fitted.
In general, you only need this tank ring and a tank bag for Yamaha XT 1200 Z/ZE Super Ténéré (2010-2020) and you have everything you need.
Each model-specific tank ring is stored in the "My Bike" database for the respective motorbike model. If no tank ring is stored, you can also use the checklist here in the shop to find out manually whether a universal tank ring is available for the desired model. (See main menu -> BASIC tank rings)

Difference between Lock-it and BASIC tank rings:
The general function and operation remain the same. However, compared to the Lock-it tank ring, the Basic tank ring only locks mechanically. With the Lock-it tank ring, the magnets help with centring. The difference lies purely in the two magnetic or plastic domes that are screwed onto the tank ring. The actual model-specific "metal ring" is the same for both versions.
Further information:
A tank bag with Lock-it counterholder cannot be fitted to a BASIC tank ring and vice versa. The tank bag counterholder and tank ring must be from the same system.
The Hepco&Becker Lock-it side case carrier - Made from German tubular steel and customised laser-cut parts, which are reinforced in areas subject to high stress. The carriers can be fitted and removed in a matter of seconds. All you have to do is loosen the attached Lock-it screws with a quarter turn and the side parts can be removed to the rear or to the side.
