The lights can only be switched on approx. 5-15 seconds after starting the engine. A voltage of at least 13.1 V must be applied to the control unit of the
wiring harness to enable the circuit
. In older vehicles, this can be achieved by briefly increasing the
speed.
Switching off must be done manually at the switch. The NOVA LEDs remain lit until
the voltage limit of 11.8 V is reached, even after the engine has been switched off. Only when
falls below this voltage limit do the lights switch off automatically via the
control unit. When switching on again (wait for the dwell time of the control unit),
the voltage limit of 13.1 V is queried again.

This functional tank ring enables the attachment of a Hepco&Becker tank bag.The scope of delivery includes a BASIC tank ring as well as the counterholder, which can be individually screwed to the tank bag depending on the tank shape and handlebar angle. The tank cap can still be opened without any problems when the tank ring is fitted.
In general, you only need this tank ring and a tank bag for Husqvarna Norden 901 / Expedition (2022-) and you have everything you need.
Each model-specific tank ring is stored in the "My Bike" database for the respective motorbike model. If no tank ring is stored, you can also use the checklist here in the shop to find out manually whether a universal tank ring is available for the desired model. (See main menu -> BASIC tank rings)

Difference between Lock-it and BASIC tank rings:
The general function and operation remain the same. However, compared to the Lock-it tank ring, the Basic tank ring only locks mechanically. With the Lock-it tank ring, the magnets help with centring. The difference lies purely in the two magnetic or plastic domes that are screwed onto the tank ring. The actual model-specific "metal ring" is the same for both versions.
Further information:
A tank bag with Lock-it counterholder cannot be fitted to a BASIC tank ring and vice versa. The tank bag counterholder and tank ring must be from the same system.

The cases are secured to the carrier using a metal retaining lock to prevent theft. A lock adapter is also required for this. This is normally supplied with the side cases. This lock adapter is screwed to the right and left at the rear of the carrier and provides the mount for the case retaining lock.The model-specific carriers are solidly designed and offer effective protection for the rider's or pillion passenger's legs even in the event of a fall.The side case carriers from Hepco&Becker can usually be combined with our rear carriers without any problems.
