Basic tank ring for Yamaha YZF-R6 (2017-2021)Simple and innovative at the same time - our BASIC tank ring This functional tank ring enables the attachment of a tank bag from Hepco&Becker.The scope of delivery includes a BASIC tank ring and the counterholder, which can be individually screwed to the tank bag depending on the tank shape and handlebar angle. The tank cap can still be opened without any problems when the tank ring is fitted. In general, you only need this tank ring and a tank bag for Yamaha YZF-R6 (2017-2021) and you have everything you need. Each model-specific tank ring is stored in the "My Bike" database for the respective motorbike model. If no tank ring is stored, you can also use the checklist here in the shop to find out manually whether a universal tank ring is available for the desired model. However, compared to the Lock-it tank ring, the Basic tank ring only locks mechanically. With the Lock-it tank ring, the magnets help with centring. The difference lies purely in the two magnetic or plastic domes that are screwed onto the tank ring. The actual model-specific "metal ring" is the same for both versions. Further information: A tank bag with Lock-it counterholder cannot be fitted to a BASIC tank ring and vice versa. The tank bag counterholder and tank ring must be from the same system.
